Otto's Odyssey
Otto's Odyssey was originally conceived for my capstone project in college as a standalone flash game built from scratch entirely in Actionscript 3; it has since evolved into a cross-platform game built in HaxeFlixel. Inspired heavily by Super Metroid, there is a strong emphasis on exploration, atmospheric environments, and unraveling the mysteries in the story. Throughout the game, the player is teased by interesting places and powerful upgrades they cannot yet reach. Combat is engaging and varied, thanks to Otto's ability to plug different hardware cores into his tooling apparatus. You will encounter many foes along the way, but if you tread carefully you may make some friends as well!
